Havas Appoints James Turnham as Chief Production Officer

The former Uncommon, 4Creative and Mother executive will work across Havas’ global content at scale network, Prose on Pixels and flagship creative agency, Havas London

Havas has named James Turnham as chief production officer for Havas’ flagship creative agency Havas London. James has also been appointed senior vice president of Create – at Havas’ recently launched global content at scale network, Prose on Pixels. His dual remit signals Havas’ continued effort to elevate the craft of their creative output, as well as developing a competitive studio offering. 

Fostering collaboration and an integrated approach to creative excellence, James’ multi-disciplined role will see him work closely with the senior creative leaders of Havas London, including chief creative officer, Vicki Maguire, chief executive officer James Fox, and Paul Ward, global president and chief executive officer of Prose on Pixels. 

James replaces Katie Keith, who left her position as head of production and global content in June. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and production prowess, having worked for the best agencies, television broadcasters and production companies in the UK, for the past 20 years. Prior to joining Havas, James was head of production and operations at 4creative and head of integrated production at Uncommon Creative Studio. 

James has also worked at Mother, where in 2014, he became managing director of Mother’s in-house production company. Before Mother, James was a founding member of the team that set up 4creative. 

Throughout his career, James has worked on campaigns for brands including The Guardian, Nike, Stella Artois, Acer, WWF, ITV and Ikea – winning numerous awards along the way including Grand Prix at Cannes Lion. He has also created long form programmes for BBC and Channel 4.
